I love how these photos are so silent and emotive. They actually remind me of many of the silent films I've seen. These leave such an effect on me. Again, amazing work Helen!
Oh, Helen. These are so lovely, especially the first one, it's the epitome of subtle perfection! May I ask what film you used in your camera (if these are film? They aren't digital are they?) and/or what camera you used? <3
Susanna, of course! These are all shot on Ilford Delta 3200 (which I've been criticized for using during daytime but you've gotta work with what you have! Neopan 1600 would probably give similar grain with less scorn) and with my compact Olympus Mju II. Thank your for the lovely words.
Gott nytt år Alice! Hoppas du får ett härligt och spännande 2012!
i instantly wondered if these were vintage 70's photos left on an old film roll. they really have that kind of feel- and its nice to see such a high speed film used with such finesse! (it has always annoyed me when someone is criticized for being unconventional and creative in photography.)
oh. nice. love the light in 2n picture.
ReplyDelete3x beautiful!
